Hack for Good

FocustApps “Hacks for Good” for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Kentuckiana

Update: Congratulations to our Team Members Tyler and Sam for winning the Utility Category in the Angular and NativeScript Charity "Hack for Good" Hackathon Weekend!

On September 12-14, 2019, FocustApps participated in the on-line Angular and NativeScript “Hack for Good” charity Hackathon weekend. Team members Tyler Blake and Sam Gosman paired up skills to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Kentuckiana by creating a complete mobile application in just 4 days.

Angular and NativeScript’s mission was to push the boundaries of the mobile frontier. Tyler and Sam needed to use Angular and NativeScript to create an engaging mobile experience across iOS, Android, and web. They were also challenged to build something amazing that also makes the world a better place.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities Kentuckiana supplied a list of needs for a new mobile app. The new application contains: a sign in sheet, volunteer portal, chores list, and a food menu.

Great job Tyler and Sam!
